Tailgating at the Tabernacle
This year, Coach Scott Ray from Cook County shared his testimony of God’s goodness in his life. It was very moving. Maurice Fason from Valdosta High School also shared how God had brought him through some hard places but had been faithful to him. Later, Megan Czerepinski from VSU shared how God had become real and personal in her life, largely through the FCA on the VSU campus. Our featured speaker was Siran Stacy, a former running back with the University of Alabama who later played in the NFL. He shared a great message about setting out our path to reach our dreams and avoiding everything that does not bring us closer to the dream. He also shared the great tragedy in his life when he lost his wife and four children to an accident involving a drunk driver. It was a very emotional service and many responded to the invitation to surrender to Christ. We want to thank the HUMC for allowing us to partner with them in this event.
